Recently me and my fellow classmates read Ernest Hemingway's six word story. The story went like this "For sale, baby shoes, never worn." The way I interpreted this was different then most. I was informed the style of shoes in the picture were from the 1930's. This was during the great depression. The way I saw it was a family was poor and was trying to sell the shoes for money. while I interpreted the story that way, others saw it differently. I looked up the meaning to this story and found a multitude of different answers. Most of the sites I went to told me "the meaning to the story is whatever you see it as."
